This article shows step by step procedure in provisioning IP Phones with a Panasonic PBX.



  • Login to the PBX (PBX Console Software or Web Console) using the correct IP. Refer to customer documentation if necessary.



  • Navigate to Configuration>>Slot>>Activation Key.



  • Verify the license status (IP Proprietary Telephone SIP Extension)




  • Navigate to Configuration>>Slot>>IP Phone Registration and click on the "Registration" button.



  • Choose the extension numbers you want to add. You can add multiple extensions if there are more than 1 deskphones. Be sure to match the number of extensions with the number of deskphones being provisioned (1 to 1). Click on the "Next" button once done.



  • The next step shows information on how to prep the deskphones to be provisioned. Click on the "Next" button to continue. 



  • Next, the PBX will now search for new deskphones. It is recommended to boot up the deskphones one by one. The deskphones are detected automatically, and shown on screen with a green check mark once provisioned. If not, The PBX IP will have to be set on the deskphone. Click on this LINK to see how.
  • Once complete, the status should show green check marks on all extensions being added and will also show the message "Registration Complete". Close the wizard by clicking on the "X" button.
  • Be sure to save by clicking on the floppy disk icon on the top right corner of webpage before exiting the browser.

  • When using the Web Console, there is a slight delay when navigating through different pages.
